The Emirati minister has visited Egypt Pavilion at
Expo 2020 Dubai and inspected its exhibits, lauding the country’s outstanding participation.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has visited Egypt Pavilion at
Expo 2020 Dubai, and inspected its exhibits, including the sarcophagus of
priest Psamtik and various ancient Egyptian replicas.
The Emirati minister was received by Sherif al-Badawi, Egypt’s
ambassador in Dubai, and Ashraf Hamdi, head of the Egyptian Commercial Office
in Dubai and Egypt’s deputy Commissioner-General to the Expo.
Bin Zayed expressed his pride in the strong Egyptian
participation in this historic event in the UAE which coincides with the golden
jubilee of the country, lauding Egypt’s efforts to ensure the success of its
pavilion in particular and the Expo in general.
He pointed out that the unique style of Egypt Pavilion gives
a glimpse of the country’s history and rich heritage, noting that it also showcases
its latest achievements over the past years, as well as its bright economic and
development prospects.
Organizing such event for the first time in the Arab region
and the Middle East is an unprecedented accomplishment for the UAE and a
success for all countries of the region, the minister added.
