Ahmed Samir has visited the General Organization for Export and Import Control
(GOEIC)’s branch at Cairo International Airport to open its new electric motor
testing laboratory and check the latest development works there.
“The Egyptian
state seeks to enhance the competitiveness of its industrial sector to keep up
with the global industrial trend which embraces cut-throat technologies,” Samir
said.
The ministry,
he added, is establishing more accredited, specialized testing labs that would
contribute to easier shipment inspection and customs clearance procedures. “We
aim to streamline trade flows between Egypt and the world,” he stressed.
