The move comes within the ministry's keenness to boost mutual
cooperation between Egypt and Algeria.

Gamea has issued a decree restructuring the
Egyptian-Algerian Business Council, to be led by Ahmed Sadiq el-Sewedy, CEO and
managing director of El Sewedy Electric Company.
The council will have a tenure of
three years from the decree’s date of publication in the official gazette.
“The move comes within the ministry's
keenness to boost the movement of trade, joint investments and industrial
cooperation between Egypt and Algeria during the next period,” Gamea said
commenting on the decision.
