Gamea has met with Lebanese minister of economy and South
Africa’s minister of trade on the sidelines of WTO MC12.

Gamea has held a series of meetings with Arab and African ministers, on the
sidelines of the WTO 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12) held in
Geneva, Switzerland, on June 12-15.
Gamea met with Lebanese Minister of
Economy and Trade Amin Salam, where they discussed boosting bilateral trade,
especially Egypt’s food and agro exports to Lebanon, and transferring Egyptian antidumping
expertise to the Lebanese side.
Moreover, she explored with Ebrahim Patel, South Africa’s minister of trade
and industry, means of expanding mutual cooperation between the top two
economies on the Dark Continent, within efforts to achieve regional economic
integration.
