The Omani side invited the minister to
visit the capital Masqat during the first quarter of 2022.

Minister
of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has held a virtual meeting with Omani Minister
of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais Mohammed al-Youssef, where
they explored means of expanding joint economic cooperation.
During
the meeting the Omani side invited the minister to visit the capital Masqat
during the first quarter of 2022 leading a delegation of officials and
businessmen, to meet with Omani counterparts, attend the Egyptian-Omani business
council and investment business forum, as well as sign MoUs in the fields of
trade remedies, specifications and standards.
“The
Omani market can serve as a hub for Egypt’s exports to access markets of the
Gulf Cooperation Council as well as others bound with Oman by FTAs,” Gamea
said.
