Minister of Trade and Industry
Nevine Gamea has met with Minister of Public Enterprise Sector Hisham Tawfik to
discuss preparations for the 2022/2023 season of cotton trading starting
September 1, with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture
of Land Reclamation.
“The ministry is keen on ensuring a
stable cotton trading system, especially in light of the fruitful outcomes of
the cotton flower trading system applied across the country in 2021/2022,”
Gamea said.
The two ministers also agreed that
the follow-up executive committee will continue its work. It includes
representatives from the three ministries concerned.
