The two ministers have issued a joint decree on the 2022/2023 season of cotton trading.

Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir and Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Al-Sayed al-Quseir have issued a joint decree on the 2022/2023 season of cotton trading which starts September 1.
The decision stipulates forming a task force of the Joint Egyptian Cotton Committee, including representatives from the two ministries and the Ministry of Public Business Sector, to follow up on the process and submit a monthly report to the ministers of trade and agriculture.
