The meeting has discussed ways to boost economic cooperation
between Egypt and Israel, within the QIZ joint protocol.

Gamea and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala al-Saeed have met
with Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry Orna Barbivay, at the
headquarters of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The meeting discussed ways to boost
economic cooperation between Egypt and Israel, within the Qualified Industrial
Zone (QIZ) at QIZ joint protocol, with the aim of increasing export
capabilities during the next period especially amid the current global economic
crisis.
The two sides also explored other
areas of cooperation, which would increase economic growth in both countries,
including expanding the investment scope of the QIZ and facilitating the access
of a number of exports into their respective markets.
