The meeting has discussed
bolstering investment partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.

Minister of Trade and Industry
Ahmed Samir has met with board members of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers
of Commerce (FEDCOC) and Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Mohamed
al-Masry and Mohammed Jassim al-Saqr, first vice-president and chairman of the
two entities respectively.
“We seek to bolster investment
partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries, especially in
the fields of manufacturing, trade, agriculture, food industries,
transportation and logistics,” Samir said during the meeting.
He pointed out that the ministry
offers all support to investors as well as the necessary data for the feasibility
studies of projects proposed by the Kuwaiti side, demanding the two chambers to
list the current challenges, possible solutions and targeted investment
opportunities for further discussions.
