Minister of Trade and
Industry Ahmed Samir has met with Wael Khoury, managing director of Tetra Pak Egypt in Sharm el-Shaikh, on the sidelines of the
UN climate conference COP27, where they explored the company’s future plans in
the local market.
The meeting discussed the packaging
giant’s new joint project for recycling wastepaper into paperboard, to be
established in Egypt at an investment cost of €2.5 million.
