Ahmed Samir has met with Chinese Ambassador in Cairo Liao Liqiang, where they
discussed boosting economic cooperation between the two countries and
eliminating obstacles to mutual trade flows.
“We look forward to taking economic
cooperation with China to higher levels, thanks to the strategic ties that bind
the two nations,” Samir said, stressing the need to further bolster their economic
partnership especially in the midst of rising global challenges.
The meeting also discussed facilitating
the access of Egypt’s agricultural exports to the Chinese market, as well as
industrial products, mainly chemicals and textiles.
