An Egyptian official delegation headed to Sao Paolo, Brazil, to attend the Brazilian–Egyptian business Forum held there. The delegation included Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) Ahmed Antar and Executive Chief of the Export Development Authority (EDA) Sherine al-Shorbaggy, as well as a number of Egyptian businessmen.
Addressing the forum, Antar highlighted the great potentials offered by the bilateral trade agreement Egypt signed with the Mercosur, which came into effect in late September.
Al-Shorbaggy added that the coming period will witness more cooperation with the Mercosur countries, mainly in the fields of trade, industrial development, technical education and public-private partnerships.
