The program focuses on protecting
local industry from harmful practices in international trade.

The Trade Remedies Sector,
affiliated with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), has organized a training course
for a delegation from the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, on protecting
local industry from harmful practices in international trade.
The event, which runs from September
4 to 8, is held within efforts to strengthen joint cooperation between Egypt
and neighboring Arab countries, especially Jordan, with the aim of exchanging
know-how in the field of anti-dumping.
“The program is based on the
recommendations of the 30th Joint Higher Egyptian-Jordanian Committee
meetings held in Cairo last February and chaired by prime ministers of the two
countries,” Ibrahim al-Seguiny, assistant minister for economic affairs and head
of the sector.
