An imposed tariff of 3,000 per ton on exports of
cotton
scraps, rags and poly-cotton fabrics will be extended for another year.

Gamea has issued a decree extending a tariff of EGP 3,000 per ton on cotton scraps,
rags and poly-cotton fabrics, except for those of jeans, for a period of one
year from the date of publication in the official gazette.
The decision excludes shipments
exported to production projects established in Egypt’s free zones and within the
quantity limits set by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
