The implementation of the agreement would double Egyptian exports to Mercosur markets.
A delegation from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, led by Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Ahmed Antar, took part today in the first meeting of the joint committee of the Egypt-Mercosur Free Trade Agreement, held in the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires.
“The implementation of the agreement would double Egyptian exports to Mercosur markets, hence, narrow the gap in trade deficit between both sides, which is heavily in favor of the South American trade bloc,” Antar said.
