Report:
The authority conducted 967 inspections of factories and boilers, as well as 248
specialized technical studies during the month of November.

The Industrial Control Authority (ICA) conducted
during the month of November 967 inspections of factories, boilers and thermal
machines, as well as 248 specialized technical studies in various fields
including: temporary admission and drawback, according to the latest
performance report.
The authority also granted licenses for 63 boilers and
thermal machines, accredited 92 service and maintenance centers (after-sales
services), carried out inspections of 110 factories, and responded to 90 citizen
complaints.
"The ministry is committed to the standard
specifications in manufacturing, being a fundamental pillar for improving the
quality of the Egyptian product and increasing its competitiveness in local and
foreign markets," Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea said
commenting on the report.
Abdel Raouf al-Ahmadi, head of the ICA, pointed out
that the inspections included factories of plastics, cardboard, perfumes,
cement, chemicals, coal, printing and packaging, food, boilers, furniture, optics,
electrical and sanitary tools, clothing, cars, fodder and agricultural crops.
