Dubai- Dec 6, 2021
Muhammad Sulaiman al-Jasser, chairman of the Islamic Development
Bank (IsDB) Group, has visited the Egypt pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, where he explored
all the contents of the pavilion, which include reproductions of pharaonic antiquities
as well as interactive screens displaying the national mega-projects and the investment
opportunities available in Egypt in various production and service sectors.
He was accompanied during his tour by Khaled Milad, the director of
Egypt Pavilion at the Expo.
Al-Jasser said that Egypt is participating in Expo 2020 with an
impressive pavilion that portrays the country’s civilization throughout
history.
Egypt, he noted, is one of the bank’s largest and most active

Development Bank group.
The IsDB chief further added that Egypt will host the bank's annual
meetings on June 4, with the participation of over 4,000 people from member
states, noting that its contributions in the country stand at $13.23 billion in
the sectors of energy, mining, agriculture, urban development, roads,
education, transport, trade and capacity building.
