Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has taken part in
the meeting between Prime Minsiter Mostafa Madbouly and heads of 30 large
Emirati companies, organized by the Egyptian commercial office in Abu Dhabi.
“Egypt’s industrial sector has been flourishing recently,
thanks to the government’s economic reform program which has created a boom in
infrastructure projects and, thus, led to an unprecedented increase in exports,
hitting an all-time high of 27%,” Gamea said.
The minister pointed out that there are now numerous
industrial parks across the country, including Robbiki Leather City, which
would make Egypt a major hub for the leather industry.
The government, she added, spares no effort in creating a
business-friendly climate to attract more capital into the local market,
calling Emirati companies to benefit from the investment incentives it offers.
