The meeting will launch the Pan-African
Payments and Settlement Systems, a platform that facilitates instant
cross-border payments in local currencies between countries.

On behalf of President Abdel Fattah
al-Sisi, Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has left to Accra, Ghana,
to take part in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) meeting organized
by the AfCFTA Secretariat, to launch the Pan-African Payments and Settlement
Systems (PAPSS), a platform that facilitates instant cross-border payments in
local currencies between countries.
One of the first signatories, Egypt is keen to achieve African integration and boost intra-African trade, working diligently towards the continent’s inclusion into the world trade system.
