Under the directions of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the meeting has discussed manufacturing water-saving mixer faucets.

Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has held a meeting with
sanitaryware manufacturers in Egypt to discuss ways to implement a national
plan to rationalize water consumption, in the presence of Mohamed al-Mohandes, president
of the Chamber of Engineering Industries (CEI) at the Federation of Egyptian
Industries.
“The meeting comes under the directions of Prime Minister Mostafa
Madbouly to discuss the possibility of manufacturing water-saving mixer faucets
within the government’s current drive towards rationalizing water consumption
in houses and government facilities,” Gamea said.
She indicated that there will be coordination during the next period
between the ministry represented by the Egyptian General Authority for
Standards and Quality and the CEI on one side, and sanitaryware manufacturing
companies on the other, to follow up on the matter.
