Gamea has met, during her visit to Doha, with members of the Qatari Businessmen
Association (QBA), led by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim, where they discussed current
and future QBA projects in Egypt.
The meeting reviewed preparations
for the QBA’s upcoming visit to Cairo to explore the investment opportunities
available in the local market, mainly in the industry and services sectors.
“We are committed to providing all
support to Qatari firms operating in Egypt and eliminating potential obstacles,”
Gamea said, noting that the country’s distinct location serves as a main
gateway to African and EU markets.
The two sides also discussed
setting up a Qatari-backed hotel in the new Damietta Furniture City.
