Senegalese President Macky Sall has received Minister of
Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea at the presidential palace in the capital
Dakar, as part of her visit to Senegal heading the largest Egyptian trade
mission to Central and West Africa, accompanied by a delegation of major local
companies.
The message affirmed the depth of the historical and
strategic relations between the two countries and expressed Egypt's keenness to
develop joint cooperation, especially in trade and industry.
Gamea said that President El-Sisi's message also reiterated Egypt’s
hope that the entry into force of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement
(AfCFTA) last January will boost trade flows with African countries in general,
and Senegal in particular, so as to achieve comprehensive and sustainable
development across the Dark Continent .
