Nevine Gamea has chaired the first meeting of the Textile Industries Council
after restructure, with the participation of a host of senior officials in the field.

plan of the country’s cotton farming, spinning and weaving, as well as
ready-made garments.
“The government is so keen on
advancing the textile industry, in order to cover local market needs and export
to the world,” Gamea said, noting that Egypt has the agricultural and
industrial components needed to achieve that.
