Emerging Date Palm Industry,” on the recent developments in sector.

The
recent developments in the date palm sector have been explored today at a panel
discussion, entitled “The Emerging Date Palm Industry” held within the Food
Africa exhibition, with the participation of experts from the Ministry of Trade
and Industry’s technology centers.
The
event was led by Amgad al Kady, executive director of the Food and
Agro-Industries Technology Center; Mohammed al-Kersh, chairman of the Date
Committee at the Export Council for Food Industries; Tameem al-Dawwy, deputy
executive director of the Export Council for Food Industries; Khaled al-Hagaan,
chairman of Al-Hagaan Group and head of the Date Committee at the Agricultural
Export Council; Alaa al-Tahhan, chairman of Al-Tahhan Dates; and Mohamed Abdel
Aziz, managing director of Dcode Economic and Financial Consulting (Dcode EFC).
The discussion
was moderated by Amgad al-Kady, executive director of the Food and Agricultural
Industries Technology Center.
