There are ample opportunities for Polish investments in the
local market, mainly in engineering industries, renewable energy automotives,
food, etc.

Minister of Trade and Industry
Nevine Gamea participated in the Egyptian-Polish Business Forum which opened
today in Cairo, in the presence of President of Poland Andrzej Duda and Egyptian
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, as well as a host of ministers, senior officials
and representatives of the private sector from both countries.
“The government is keen on
advancing economic ties with Poland both on bilateral and multilateral levels,”
Gamea said, stressing the key role played by the business circles in promoting
joint cooperation.
The minister pointed out that there
are ample opportunities for Polish investments in the local market, especially
in the fields of engineering industries, renewable energy, automotives, food,
agriculture and cybersecurity.
Egypt-Poland trade, she added, was
part of the export growth the country witnessed in 2021, reaching an all-time $32.3
billion, where bilateral flows grew 20% to an unprecedented $720 million with
Egyptian exports amounting to $300 million, up 60% from a year earlier.
