the products of 25 Egyptian companies of chemicals, engineering industries,
ready-made garments, leather and furniture.

Egypt has taken part in the 46th
Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair held in the Tanzanian capital on June 28
till July 13 with a 360 m2 pavilion showcasing the products of 25 Egyptian
companies in the fields of chemicals, engineering industries, ready-made
garments, leather and furniture.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Egypt’s
Ambassador to Tanzania Mohamed Abu Alwafa accompanied by Mohamed Attia, head of
the Egyptian commercial bureau in Dar es Salaam, and featured B2B meetings with
all the participating entities.
According to official figures,
Egypt-Tanzania trade grew significantly in 2021 to $51.4 million, up 36.3% from
a year earlier; with Egypt’s exports to the East African market at $47.9
million and imports at $3.5 million.
