Spanish companies desiring to invest in or import from Egypt.

The Egyptian Commercial Office in
the Spanish capital Madrid took part in the 20th edition of
IMEX-Madrid 2022, which was held on April 18-22 April and showcased the
conditions for business development in Africa.
“The participation comes within
the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s drive towards boosting the access of
Egyptian exports to various foreign markets,” Yahya al-Wathiq Billah, head of
the Egyptian Commercial Service, said.
During the expo, the office held
a series of meetings with Spanish companies desiring to invest in or import
from Egypt, mainly in the fields of technological industries, automotives,
healthcare products, chemicals, renewable energy and water desalination.
It also met with representatives
of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and which will prepare a visit by
a Spanish business delegation to Egypt during the month of June, in
coordination with the Spanish Commercial Office in Cairo, to explore investment
opportunities in the local market.
