The accord was
signed by the National Quality Institute and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and
Quality Organization.

The Egyptian National Quality Institute (NQI) and the Saudi Standards,
Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) have signed a technical cooperation
agreement in the field of quality management systems.
Chairman
of the NQI Mohamed Atman and Governor
of SASO Saad Alkasabi signed the three-year renewable agreement.
The accord comes within the Agreement on Economic, Commercial, Investment
and Technical Cooperation signed between the two major Arab countries, and upon
the recommendations of the 16th Saudi-Egyptian
Joint Committee meeting held in Riyadh back in March.
