Egyptian and Jordanian officials
held talks today in Cairo, co-chaired by the two countries’ foreign ministers,
with the participation of Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea
and Jordan’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef al-Shamali; in
addition to a host of respective government officials.
The meeting discussed fields of
cooperation of mutual interest amid growing global and regional challenges. Ministers agreed on removing obstacles hindering trade flows between the two
countries and forming a joint task force to follow up on that.
