Under the patronage of Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine
Gamea, the largest Egyptian trade
mission to Africa heads to the city of Douala in Cameroon and the Senegalese
capital Dakar, to explore the trade and investment opportunities available in
these promising African markets, as well as enhance cooperation between business
communities in Egypt and Africa.
The move comes within the initiative of Egypt- West & Central
Africa Business Bridge, launched by the Ministry of Trade and Industry through its
Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) in cooperation with Attijariwafa Bank.
Ahmed Maghawry, head of the ECS, said that the mission's agenda
includes meetings between Egyptian companies and Cameroonian and Senegalese
counterparts, field visits, talks with government officials, in addition to holding
a business forum in each country.
