The Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) has organized a meeting between a Korean business delegation, led by Chairman of Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) Kwang Hee Hong, and representatives of the export councils of textiles, linen, chemical and medical industries, food, and handcrafts.

Held as part of the Korean president’s visit to Egypt, the meeting explored means of bolstering cooperation between the private sectors in both countries, in a way that would boost bilateral trade.

The two sides agreed on holding virtual meetings and other events for each production sector, increasing the Egyptian pavilion’s area in the Import Goods Fair to be held in June in the capital Seoul, organizing a Korean business mission to Egypt during the year, as well as forming industrial partnerships in Egypt with the aim of exporting to markets in Africa and the Arab world.
