The Egyptian commercial office in the Chinese capital Beijing
has organized a webinar on agricultural crops’ access to the Chinese market, in
cooperation with the China Agricultural Wholesale Markets Association (CAWA), the
Agricultural Export Council (AEC) and the Horticultural Export Improvement
Association (HEIA).
The event discussed
ways to boost the access of Egyptian agricultural crops to the Chinese market
and the challenges facing them during the next period.
It also reviewed the ongoing negotiations with the Chinese
authorities to introduce agricultural items such as: pomegranates, mangos and
onions to the Chinese market,
Some 22 companies participated in the webinar, including 11 from
Egypt, in addition to representatives of the CAWA, AEC and HEIA.
