Gamea: keen to maximize benefits
from financial programmes offered by the WB.

Nevine Gamea met with a World Bank delegation headed by Sameh Wahba, Global
Director for the World Bank’s Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and
Land Global Practice, to discuss priorities of the next stage of Egypt’s
economic reforms.
Gamae asserted the importance of
maximizing benefits from financial programmes offered by the WB to implement
development projects that serve the national economy and create job
opportunities for youth.
“The Egyptian government is keen on
improving the business environment to attract more local and foreign investments
to the local market,” Gamae added, reassuring that the ministry priorities
facilitating investment procedures, particularly for small and medium
enterprises.
The WB wanted to develop cooperation
programmes with the Egyptian government to boost the country’s economic reform
and attract investments.
