Qena- During his tour today in Qena to open new factories, Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil announced that the ministry is preparing for the launching of 13 new industrial complexes across Egypt, within President al-Sisi’s initiative to support and employ the youth.
The new parks, he said, will be set up in seven Upper Egyptian governorates, including: Aswan, Luxor, Qena, Sohag, Assiut, Minya and Beni Suef; and other six in Faiyum, Alexandria, Gharbeya, Beheira and the Red Sea.
“The Industrial Development Authority will launch the new complexes at nominal rents with a usufruct right for 50 years,” Kabil noted.
They will span a wide range of industrial fields: pharmaceuticals, chemicals, textiles, construction materials, food and engineering industries, the minister added.
