Report: The authority conducted 892 inspections of factories and boilers, as well as 211 specialized technical studies during the month of October.

The Industrial Control Authority (ICA) conducted during the month of October 892 inspections of factories, boilers and thermal machines, as well as 211 specialized technical studies in various fields including: temporary admission and drawback, according to the latest performance report.
The authority also granted licenses for 96 boilers and thermal machines, accredited 58 service and maintenance centers (after-sales services), carried out 17 periodical inspections of 66 factories, and responded to 93 citizen complaints.
"The ministry is committed to the standard specifications in manufacturing, being a fundamental pillar for improving the quality of the Egyptian product and increasing its competitiveness in local and foreign markets," Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea said commenting on the report.
Abdel Raouf al-Ahmadi, head of the ICA, pointed out that the authority is particularly keen on improving the quality of Egyptian products on domestic markets and abroad, noting that its ISO 9001/2015 accreditation had been renewed.
