Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has met with Anas
Saeed Al Otaiba, director- general of the Emirates Defense Companies Council, and
his accompanying delegation, where they explored cooperation opportunities between
Egypt and the UAE during the next period.
The meeting discussed building industrial partnerships
between Egyptian and Emirati companies to cover their local market needs and
export to Europe and Africa, benefiting from Egypt’s strategic location and its
broad range of trade agreements with the world’s major countries and economic
blocs.
The government, she noted, provides a series of incentive
packages for companies operating in the Egyptian market to create a business-friendly
environment.
Al-Otaiba, for his part, stressed that Egypt is a
distinguished industrial and investment destination, noting that the Council
will organize a virtual conference on industrial investment, with the
participation of a large number of Emirati companies to introduce them to the advantages
of the Egyptian market and its various investment incentives.
