The Authority's Present
Objectives
- Maximizing the role of quality control and censorship
on industrial products prior to issuing them on the
markets or for final consuming, taking those products to
the highest quality levels.
- Fighting industrial adulteration and consumer
protection against using or consuming a defective or
standard specifications non-conforming product.
- Insuring the safety of cauldrons and thermal machinery
and running periodical tests on them to secure
establishments that use them and people who operate them
and deciding their validity for use.
- Providing counseling and technical studies to some
governmental bodies:
- Temporary set free customs and drawback studies.
- Instant tax retrieval studies.
- Production magnitude determination studies.
- Bank studies - determining the value of assets -
establishments - raw materials or manufactured materials
studies.
- Executing all decisions issued concerning the
authority and it's jurisdictions as follows:
- Revising and executing the present regulations
governing service and maintenance centers.
- Revising and executing the regulations governing
dealing in or exporting or manufacturing toxic and non
toxic materials and their subsidiaries.
- Settling of disputes.
- Participation on various committees with the concerned
parties.
- Developing the authority's human resources in
accordance with their functional jurisdictions through:
- Arranging specialized training courses for the
technical staff at universities and specialized
scientific institutes.
- Arranging lectures and seminars regularly at the
authority lectured by foreign and Egyptian experts.
- Take a special interest in the English language and
facilitating and providing its study to all technical
staff of the authority and its branches throughout the
republic.
- Take a special interest in forming a class of workers
at the Computer and Information Center
and giving them high level training on programs and
various applications.
- Foreign training expeditions.
- Working on broadening the scope for foreign training
so as to stay up to date on the global technological
developments. |
