Industrial and mining
projects council Welcomes visitors to its site which
contain activities and services provided by it to
participate in Egyptian industrial development by
different researches, design, drawings, and engineering
supervising needed for industrial and mining projects in
Egypt and in the Arabic nation
Presidential decree number 779 for the year 1969,
modified by decrees number 8 for the year 1979 and
number 21 for the year 1993, was issued to establish the
General Organization for Industrial and Mining Projects
based in Cairo, having its own legal character,
following the Minister of Industry and Metallurgy and
having an executive body to administer it, manage its
affairs, and represent it in its relations with others
and in front of the judicial system, holding the rights
to contract and do all that is needed to achieve the
objective for which it was established.

presidential decree number 779 for the year 1969
pertaining to establishing the General Organization for
Industrial and Mining Projects

After studying the Constitution:
And going over the General Organizations' Law issued
according to law number 61 for the year 1963, and
presidential decree number 779 for the year 1969
modified by presidential decree number 8 for the year
1979 for establishing the General Organization for
Industrial and Mining Projects, and the consent of the
Ministers Council,
Decided:
(Clause One)
The name of the General Organization for Executing
Industrial and Mining Compounds/complexes, established
by presidential decree number 779 for the year 1969, is
to be modified to the General Organization for
Industrial and Mining Projects
(Clause Two)
The text of clause number (1) of number (2) is to be
replaced by the following text:
"Executing all research, study, design, and engineering
consultation required for the execution of these
projects"
(Clause Three)
This decree is to be published in the Official
Newspaper:
Issued by the Republic Presidency on the 12th of Ragab
for the year 1413 A.H.
