Gamea met with a number of Russian companies desiring to invest
in Egypt in the fields of carbon fiber manufacturing, water treatment and waste

Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea concluded today her
visit to the Russian capital Moscow, during which she chaired meetings of the 13th
Egyptian-Russian Joint Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical
Cooperation, with the participation of representatives from all ministries and
On the sidelines of the visit, Gamea also met with a number
of Russian companies desiring to invest in Egypt during the coming period, mainly
in the fields of carbon fiber manufacturing, water treatment and waste
“The Egyptian government is keen to provide a favorable business
climate to attract more foreign investments to the local market and committed
to eliminating all obstacles,” she affirmed.
The minister further noted that the establishment of the
Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal will be a fulcrum for Russian companies in Egypt.
