The Ministry of Trade and Industry is organizing the 4th Egyptian Palm Date Festival in Siwa on November 7-9, in cooperation with the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation (KIAAI), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Governorate of Matrouh.
Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, this year’s edition is expected to attract a big turnout of 142 exhibitors, 71 importers and delegations from five Arab countries including: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Libya, Jordan and Sudan.
Ministers of trade and industry, social solidarity, investment and international cooperation, supply, agriculture, urban development, as well as the secretary-general of the KIAAI, will participate in the Festival.
