Some 50 companies
in all fields relating to furniture and decoration are participating in the expo.

On behalf of
Egypt’s Premier Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar inaugurated
the 25th edition of Al-Ahram Indoors (The Furniture and Decoration Show), running
on September 5-8 at the Cairo International Convention Centre in Cairo.
The opening was attended
by Chairman of Al-Ahram Corporation Abdel-Mohsen Salama and a host of top
officials. Some 50 companies in all fields relating to furniture and decoration
are participating in the expo.
“Improving the exhibition system is a top
priority for the ministry, being key to boosting Egyptian exports in
international markets and enhancing the quality of products as well as increase
their competitiveness,” Nassar said.
He stressed that furniture
making is one of Egypt’s most promising industries, noting that Damietta Furniture
City will help develop this business in
Egypt and increase its exports, hence create more jobs.
